Happy 3rd Birthday Raspberry Pi

On February 29th 2012 a ARM CPU and a Linux OS rushed to into the computer hospital, after a short stay in the circuit ward the Raspberry Pi was born.

I realize that might not be exactly what happened, but the fact of the matter is the Raspberry Pi’s 3rd birthday is at the end of the month. The invitations are sent and the plans are made for a great birthday party across the pond.

Since the first Raspberry Pi board was shipped so many amazing things have been accomplished, wikipedia has a great summary of the Raspberry Pi’s History.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to say Thank You to the Raspberry Pi Foundation for all of their hard work over the years, providing amazing educational material through the Raspberry Pi.

Happy Birthday!
